The Ministry of Health of Russia announced the resumption of supplies of Oncaspar, a drug for the treatment of lymphoblastic leukemia, to Russian medical institutions. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
The department clarified that the drug was included in the list of medicines allowed for import into the country in packaging in a foreign language. In addition, in the near future, Oncaspar may be included in the list of vital drugs.
The manufacturer specified that the supply of the drug will be resumed in the near future.
Earlier, the Pneumotex vaccine against pneumococcal infection was registered in Russia. According to the company, both children and adults can be vaccinated with the vaccine. The drug will be produced in the Russian Federation.
It was also reported that scientists from the Rostov Research Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology of Rospotrebnadzor created the first vaccine against rotavirus infection in Russia. Mass production of the vaccine is planned to start next year.
