Over the past day, 6,578 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the Russian Federation, which is 751 less than on October 24.

According to the operational headquarters for combating the spread of the disease, the number of patients with COVID-19 admitted to hospitals increased by more than 3 times compared to the previous day — up to 1,576. 12,912 recovered from coronavirus are reported, which is 55% more than in the daytime previously.

Over the past day, 84 cases of death from COVID-19 were recorded in the country, the day before — 89.

Earlier, the WHO said that between October 10 and 17, the number of deaths from coronavirus in the world decreased by 17% compared to the previous seven days.
