Many par­ents from the very begin­ning of preg­nan­cy begin to wor­ry about the health of the unborn baby and want to cre­ate the safest pos­si­ble envi­ron­ment for him. The list of things that can pro­voke trou­ble includes pets. It is for this rea­son that many do not want to leave ani­mals in the house. How­ev­er, do not for­get that a pet can become a true friend for your baby and teach him respon­si­bil­i­ty and self­less love. Of course, you should not plan to pur­chase an ani­mal until the moment the baby grows up. Since you are respon­si­ble for your pet, then with the advent of the child you will have to take into account his inter­ests — because he, like a per­son, can begin to show jeal­ousy. The most dan­ger­ous man­i­fes­ta­tion of such jeal­ousy can be the aggres­sive­ness of a pet or its attack on a crumb. You should explain to your four-legged friend as kind­ly as pos­si­ble that you now have a new mem­ber, which you should not offend in any case. Nev­er leave an ani­mal unat­tend­ed, espe­cial­ly alone with a baby. Com­plete ignor­ing of the ani­mal, a sharp decrease in its share of atten­tion can lead to neg­a­tive con­se­quences. You can avoid trou­ble if the cat and dog receive as much love from you as they did before the baby was born.

You will also have to mon­i­tor the behav­ior of the crumbs — espe­cial­ly dur­ing the peri­od when he begins to move inde­pen­dent­ly and will show con­stant curios­i­ty. You may even need to lim­it your baby’s con­tact with your pet if they are too annoy­ing to each oth­er. Time will be the solu­tion to such a prob­lem — a grown child will be hap­py with a friend.

If you can’t imag­ine your future life with­out a four-legged friend, then fol­low a num­ber of rules. So, the ani­mal must have all the nec­es­sary vac­ci­na­tions. You will also have to do more thor­ough clean­ing in the house — this applies to both wool and the con­tents of the tray, because a grown child will want to taste lit­er­al­ly every­thing.
