Are you sick in the morning, and you can’t look at familiar foods without stomach cramps?

Congratulations, you are pregnant!

In the first three months of pregnancy, nausea and vomiting very often occur, and this condition is called toxicosis. Of course, this is unpleasant, but not dangerous — as long as you follow the basic rules. The most important of them is to drink a lot and at least eat something. If this does not work out due to constant urge or profuse vomiting, then there is only one way out — to the doctor.

How to get rid of toxicosis in the morning

If you feel sick in the morning, then do not rush to leave the bed immediately after waking up. It’s better to eat something first:

gingerbread or cracker;

toast or black cracker;

All this should already be lying near the bed in the evening. Early toxicosis is well eliminated by a proven folk remedy — a tablespoon of honey eaten on an empty stomach. Honey contains a lot of trace elements and vitamins, as well as easily digestible glucose and fructose. After the first meal, lie still for about half an hour.

You can also relieve vomiting attacks with the help of mint infusion — pour mint with boiling water, insist for five minutes, and then add a little lemon and honey. You can drink whatever you like — milk or yogurt, mineral water (preferably alkaline, like “Borjomi”), fruit or herbal tea, freshly squeezed juice. A good solution would be an infusion of anise or rose hips, as well as ginger tea, which perfectly eliminates nausea. If you are not worried about swelling, then you can drink up to 3 liters of fluid daily.

What to eat with toxicosis

Ginger perfectly removes the manifestations of toxicosis. You can make tea from it, or you can just chew the pieces or add them to a vegetable salad. Also a good choice for snacks is dried apricots, which normalizes the level of potassium in the body.

Spicy, salty and fatty — avoid. If you really want salty, then you need to eat it little by little — for example, one lightly salted cucumber or a piece of fish. But it is worth leaning on protein foods rich in B vitamins — for example, a boiled egg with toast is ideal for breakfast.

General recommendations

After consulting with your doctor, you can choose homeopathic remedies for yourself. It is also recommended to walk a lot and be less in rooms with stale air. It is worth taking special vitamins and avoiding stress as much as possible.

Aromatherapy will be useful — use relaxing essential oils of neroli, lemon, mint, grapefruit. It will help improve the condition and afternoon sleep. Working moms can afford it on the weekends. And tune in to the positive, because soon this difficult period will end.
